Activity 5- Strategies
I have completed the activity (with many notes, articles and examples surrounding me incl. both laptop, Ipad and desktop open on different sites!). I found it was easier when I 'honed' in on one aspect as opposed to my usual 'Pie in the sky- Lets change the world' approach.
I would recommend looking a a 'small' strategy as this is still involved! For those of us who like to pontificate, this is an excellent way to concentrate on one area. It has also helped me think about the constructing courses paper and change my outlook on what I will work on.
Here is the link- let me know if it does not work

Hi Jayne
ReplyDeleteThese are excellent examples you have developed. For the process of learning about disease and disorder, I really like the strategy of interviewing practitioners to develop case studies. Perhaps this could be something that students could also do when on fieldwork, as a follow on from the critique of a case study using the template. Then the students could present their case studies synchronously f2f or virtually or asynchronously for discussion and feedback.
Thanks Bronwyn, At the end of the placement, students have a week of fieldwork reflection. Presentations are an expectation so incorporating the DFO work into it more would be beneficial using case studies and integrating the process of learning about disease and disorder with case studies from practice in the field would be of great benefit. It would be good to hear other students feedback too.
